UMAMI Chipotle Caesar Roasted Cauliflower

Ingredients

UMAMI Chipotle Caesar Roasted Cauliflower with Fried Capers

1 whole cauliflower 

1/4 cup UMAMI Chipotle Caesar 

2-4 TBSP capers, rinsed and patted dry 

1 TBSP olive oil 

1-2 TBSP nutritional yeast flakes (optional) 

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375. 

  • Remove core of cauliflower and rinse with water; pat dry. 

  • Place cauliflower upside down on a foil lined pan, and pour 1 tbsp of UMAMI into the bottom. 

  • Turn cauliflower right side up and coat top with remaining UMAMI. 

  • Place a pan with about 2 inches of water in the bottom of the oven (this helps to steam the cauliflower) and put cauliflower on middle rack and bake for 45 minutes. 

  • Heat oil in a shallow pan and toss capers to coat. Cook, stirring often, until crispy. 

  • Remove cauliflower from oven, slice and sprinkle with capers and nutritional yeast. 

  • Finish with a drizzle of UMAMI Chipotle Caesar
